- One right-angle plug and one straight plug. The angled end turns through 90° so it sits flat against the socket instead of standing proud of it. The other end is an ordinary straight plug. This is not a dual-angled lead — if you need both ends turned, this is not the one.
- Both ends are 3.5 mm male plugs. It joins two sockets together. It is not an extension: there is no socket on either end, so it will not lengthen an existing cable. We stock separate 3.5 mm extension leads for that.

Product Overview
This is a 1.5 metre 3.5 mm stereo audio lead with a right-angled plug on one end and a straight plug on the other. It carries ordinary line-level or headphone audio between any two devices with a 3.5 mm socket — a phone into a car aux input, a laptop into powered speakers, a tablet into an amplifier.
The angle is the whole point of this lead. A straight plug sticks out perpendicular to the socket, so anywhere the device sits flat against something — a phone in a cradle, a head unit sunk into a dashboard, a laptop pushed back to a wall — the plug is levered sideways every time the device moves. That is the usual way a 3.5 mm lead dies. The angled end lies flat and takes the cable away along the face of the device instead.
Only one end is angled. That is what this product is, and it is worth saying because leads with an angled plug at each end also exist and look very similar in a search results grid. Here the angled plug goes into the awkward socket and the straight plug goes into whatever is easier to reach.
It is a male-to-male lead, not an extension. Both ends are plugs, so it connects two sockets to each other. If what you actually need is to make a headphone cable reach further, you want a 3.5 mm extension — plug on one end, socket on the other — and that is a different product, which we also stock.
It is a 3-pole stereo lead. There are two black bands on the tip of each plug, which is three conductors: left, right and common. Leads with three bands are 4-pole TRRS and carry a microphone as well, for headsets and for camera and phone audio input. This lead has no microphone channel, so if you are wiring up a headset or feeding a mic signal, a 4-pole cable is the one to buy.
The cable is thin and flexible rather than braided or coiled, so it sits where you put it. It is shielded along its length to keep engine whine, alternator noise and nearby power cables out of the signal.
