About this item
At 1.2 metres this is deliberately the short one. It is the length you want when the two things are already close together – a phone or a laptop on the same shelf as the amplifier, a desktop DAC beside the speakers, or a tidy rack where a three-metre lead just becomes a loop of slack to hide. Please read before buying
- It is not a microphone lead. A headset that carries a mic uses a 4-pole TRRS plug; this is a 3-pole stereo cable and will not pass microphone audio.
- It cannot convert digital audio. If your TV only has an optical or HDMI audio output, this lead will not help – you would need a digital-to-analogue converter first.
- The two RCA plugs are a stereo pair (left and right), not a single subwoofer connection.
Within that, it does one job properly: it turns a headphone socket into a pair of RCA plugs, without the slack.
