Product Overview
This small rigid adaptor joins two coax cables that would not otherwise fit together: one that finishes in a threaded F plug – the kind used on set-top box, satellite and pay-TV leads – and one that finishes in the ordinary push-fit PAL plug found on Australian TV aerial leads. Both ends of the adaptor are sockets. The F plug screws onto the threaded end and the PAL plug pushes into the other.
The F end is the externally threaded barrel with a white insulator and a small hole in the centre. The PAL end is the open round barrel with the receptacle recessed inside. Neither end has a pin sticking out – that is the quickest way to tell this adaptor apart in the photos.

Because both ends are sockets, it will not plug into a wall aerial socket or the aerial input on a TV – those are sockets too.
