Product Overview
This composite AV cable connects your Nintendo Wii, Wii U, or Wii Mini to any TV or monitor with standard RCA inputs. One end plugs into the AV multi-out port on the back of your console, while the other splits into three colour-coded RCA connectors — yellow for composite video, and red and white for stereo audio. At 1.8 metres long, the cable provides plenty of reach from your console to your TV with no adaptors or converters required.
Compatible with all Nintendo Wii console models: the original Wii (RVL-001), the Wii Family Edition (RVL-101), and the Wii Mini (RVL-201), as well as the Wii U. Whether your original cable has been lost or damaged, or you need a spare for a second console in another room, this is a direct replacement that will have you up and playing straight away.
Please note: Your TV must have composite AV inputs (the coloured sockets usually labelled "AV IN") to use this cable. If your TV only has HDMI inputs, you will need a separate Wii-to-HDMI adaptor instead.
Not sure this is the right AV cable? This composite cable fits the Nintendo Wii, Wii U and Wii Mini — a direct replacement for the original RVL-009 lead, using the Wii's own AV multi-out connector. It does not fit the N64, SNES or GameCube, which use the older Nintendo Multi-Out port — those take the N64 / SNES / GameCube AV cable. Also for the Wii family: the sensor bar and its 3m extension. Searching for HDMI? Retro consoles like this one output analogue AV, not HDMI — this lead is the correct native connection.
