Product Overview
This 1.8m AU power cable is a simple replacement for the mains lead used on Sony PS4, PS4 Slim, and PS5 consoles. It connects directly from a standard Australian wall outlet to the figure-8 power socket on the back of your console, with no power brick or converter required — just plug in and play.
The lead uses a standard IEC C7 figure-8 connector on the console end and an Australian 3-pin mains plug on the wall end. At 1.8 metres long, the cable gives you enough reach to route neatly through a TV cabinet or entertainment unit. The durable PVC jacket, moulded plugs, and strain-relief at each end are built for everyday use.
Please note — the PS4 Pro goes both ways: most PS4 Pro consoles (the CUH-70xx and CUH-71xx series) use the larger 3-pin kettle-style connector and are not compatible with this cable, but the later CUH-72xx series uses the same 2-pin figure-8 socket and this lead does fit those. Check the power socket on the back of your console before ordering: a small 2-pin figure-8 socket takes this cable, while a 3-pin socket takes the kettle-style (IEC C13) cord. Not sure this is the right lead? This 2-pin figure-8 lead fits the PS4, PS4 Slim, PS5, PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro at 1.8m. The PS4 Pro is the one to check — the earlier CUH-70xx/71xx Pro uses the larger 3-pin kettle-style cord (as does the original fat PS3), while the later CUH-72xx Pro takes this 2-pin figure-8 lead. If you would rather have the same fitting as a shorter 1.5m slim-plug lead, that is the cheaper option; for a PS1, PSone, PS2 or PS3 Slim use the PS1 / PS2 / PS3 Slim lead.
