About this item
The cable features a tough PVC outer jacket with moulded plugs and strain relief to protect against kinks, twisting, and everyday wear.
Compatible with: PlayStation 3 (PS3) original "fat" console models and PlayStation 4 Pro consoles that use an IEC C13 / kettle-style power socket (CUH-70xx & CUH-71xx series).
If you are unsure whether your console uses this style of power connector, feel free to message us before you order.
Not sure this is the right lead? This is the 3-pin kettle-style (IEC C13) cord for the original fat PS3 and PS4 Pro. If your console has the small 2-pin figure-8 inlet, you need the PS3 Slim / Super Slim lead or the PS4 / PS5 lead instead.
Still not sure? Use the Cable Finder — pick your console and it shows you the exact lead that fits.
Only two pins in your console? That can be correct.
This cable has a 3-slot IEC C13 connector. It also fits a matching 2-pin IEC C18 inlet on compatible consoles or power bricks. On that 2-pin inlet, the centre earth contact in the cable is simply unused. Match the inlet shape, not just the number of pins. This is not a figure-8 lead and does not fit notched inlets that require a C15 lead.
