Keep your PS3 controller charged and ready to go with this 1.8m USB cable. Plug it into any USB port on the PS3 console and connect the Mini USB end to your controller — long enough to charge comfortably from the couch while you keep playing.
This is a full data cable, not a charge-only cable. The PS3 DualShock 3 controller requires a proper USB data handshake to accept a charge, so generic charge-only cables and most phone wall chargers will not work. This cable provides both data and charging current, so it works straight away. It also handles controller pairing — when you plug a controller into a PS3 via USB for the first time, the controller registers to that console and will connect wirelessly from then on.
The cable includes a built-in ferrite core to reduce electromagnetic interference for a clean, reliable connection. Strain-relief moulding at both connectors and a flexible PVC jacket for everyday durability.
