This composite AV cable is a brand new replacement for the standard audio and video lead that came with the original Xbox. The Xbox AV connector plugs into the back of the console, and the three colour-coded RCA plugs connect to your television — yellow for video, white for left audio and red for right audio. A simple, reliable way to keep a spare on hand or replace a lost or damaged cable.

Composite is the universal analogue standard, so this cable works with virtually any television, monitor or recording device that has the familiar yellow, white and red RCA sockets, including older CRT sets and many modern TVs. Just match the colours and you are ready to go, with no adaptors or converters required.

Compatibility Note: This cable is designed for the original Xbox (classic, 2001) only. It is not compatible with the Xbox 360, Xbox One or Xbox Series consoles. Composite output is standard-definition 480i — for high-definition progressive scan (480p / 720p / 1080i) you will need a component (YPbPr) cable instead.
