This is the 220W upgrade brick for the original Xbox One, with a status LED set into the top panel. The LED tells you what the supply is doing at a glance: it sits green while the console is in standby and turns red once the console is switched on and drawing power. If the light is off or blinking, the unit is reporting a fault. That is genuinely useful on a console that lives in a cabinet — you can see the supply state without reaching round the back.
Full 220W, not a 135W substitute: the output is DC 12V at 17.9A with a separate 5V 1A standby rail, which is the rating the original Xbox One was designed around. Many replacement bricks on the market are 135W (12V 10.83A) units; they will run the console, but this one carries the full headroom. The wide 100–240V auto-switching input means it works with Australian consoles and imports alike.
Original Xbox One Only — Important Compatibility Note: this brick suits the original launch-model Xbox One, the console that uses an external power supply. The Xbox One S and Xbox One X have their power supplies built in and take no external brick at all, so this will not fit those consoles.
