Product Overview
Every Nintendo 64 console shipped with a Jumper Pak pre-installed in the memory expansion port on top of the unit. This small module terminates the console's RDRAM bus and is essential for the N64 to boot and produce a picture on your TV. Without either a Jumper Pak or an Expansion Pak in this slot, the console will not display any video output at all.
If your N64 is missing its Jumper Pak — whether you bought it second-hand without one, or the original was removed to install an Expansion Pak and has since gone missing — this brand new replacement is all you need. Simply slide it into the expansion port on top of the console and you are ready to play your favourite N64 games straight away.
Please note: This is a standard Jumper Pak (also known as a Booster Pak). It is not a 4 MB Expansion Pak (the red-topped module that doubles the N64's RAM from 4 MB to 8 MB). The Jumper Pak allows the console to operate normally with its standard 4 MB of built-in memory. Games that specifically require the Expansion Pak — such as Donkey Kong 64 and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask — will not run with the Jumper Pak alone.
