Product Overview
A straight 3.5 mm stereo audio lead with a standard 3-pole TRS plug at each end, in a full 10 metre length. This is the one for wiring a room rather than topping up a phone: a PC or TV at one end of the lounge to a hi-fi at the other, a ceiling projector down to a soundbar, or an indoor source out to speakers in a garage, shed or patio. Shorter 1.2 m and 3 m versions of this same lead are also listed.
What you can use it for
- Car audio – phone, tablet or MP3 player into the car’s AUX input
- Powered speakers, an amplifier or a hi-fi – from a headphone or line-out socket
- TV, projector or a games console into a soundbar or stereo system
- Desktop and laptop audio – sound card out to monitors or a mixer
Please read before buying
This is a passive stereo audio lead, so a few things are worth stating plainly:
- It is not a microphone or headset lead. Headsets that carry a mic use a 4-pole TRRS plug; this is a 3-pole stereo TRS cable and will not pass microphone audio.
- It is not an amplifier – it carries a line or headphone level signal and does not boost it.
- It will not fit 6.35 mm (quarter-inch) sockets without a separate adapter.
Within that, it is simply a long, well-made aux lead that does the job without fuss.
