This composite AV cable connects your PlayStation console to any TV or monitor with standard RCA inputs. One end plugs into the AV Multi Out port on the back of your console, while the other splits into three colour-coded RCA connectors — yellow for composite video, and red and white for stereo audio. At 1.8 metres long, the shielded cable provides plenty of reach with no adaptors or converters required.
Sony used the same proprietary AV Multi Out connector across three generations of PlayStation, so this single cable works with every model — the original PS1, the compact PSOne, the PS2 (both fat and slim), and the PS3 (fat, slim, and super slim). The PS2 also doubles as a DVD player, and this is the same cable you need for movie playback.
Please note: Your TV must have composite AV inputs (the coloured sockets usually labelled "AV IN") to use this cable. Not compatible with the PS4 or PS5, which use HDMI only.
