Product Overview
This AC power supply and USB adapter lets you use the Xbox 360 Kinect sensor on an original "fat" Xbox 360. Those early consoles do not have the dedicated Kinect port that the later Xbox 360 S and Xbox 360 E include, so the Kinect needs this adapter to receive power and connect.
The kit comes complete with a wall AC adapter (AU plug) and a USB converter cable, supplying a regulated 12V with overcurrent and overheat protection. It also works to connect the Kinect sensor to a Windows PC (including Windows 11) for motion, scanning or development projects.
Compatibility Note: This adapter is for the original "fat" Xbox 360 (and PC). The Xbox 360 S (Slim) and Xbox 360 E already have a built-in Kinect port and do not require it.

Not sure this is the right Kinect adaptor? This powers the Xbox 360 Kinect on an original fat Xbox 360, which has no dedicated Kinect port, and also connects a Kinect to a Windows PC. You do not need it on an Xbox 360 S or Xbox 360 E — those consoles have the Kinect port built in. For the newer Kinect 2.0 on an Xbox One S or One X, use the Kinect 2.0 adaptor instead.
